Congratulations to KJ Driscoll and Hayden Host who won the statewide tournament (ICASSTT) at Lake Springfield this past weekend. There were 80 boats from across the state competing. Their winning weight was 12.5 pounds and was anchored by a giant 6.25 pound giant Illinois bass! They are currently tied for first in the Illinois Angler of the Year standings. #mchsproud

Officer Steven Cerovac, South Campus’ new SRO, has been with the Channahon Police Department for the past four years as a patrolman. He is a certified Defensive Tactics instructor, Field Training Officer, and now a School Resource Officer. Prior to becoming an Officer, he worked in education for six years, four of which he was a history teacher. He is also a 2008 graduate of Minooka Community High School. He is excited for the opportunity to give back to his alma mater as an SRO and to strengthen the relationship between the community and the Channahon Police Department.


Tonight is our annual Coaches’ Cookout at 4:30! We hope to see our athletes and their families for some free food, scrimmages, spirit wear, and more!


In 2019-20, the Minooka girls varsity bowling team continued on state trophy succes. They won 6 tournaments, including the highly competitive Strikefest. They also won the conference and the regional. At the IHSA State finals, they placed 3rd and had to all-state athletes: Brianna Gillson and Kiara Backstrom. #TBT #ThrowbackThursday


At last night's Board of Education meeting, we recognized Hunter Petrovic and Hayden Host for winning Minooka’s first ever State Championship in Bass Fishing! Hunter was also named Bassmaster All-American, an honor only given to the top 12 in the country. This is a tremendous accomplishment and we are incredibly proud these students. #mchsproud
