Dr. Vahl and Mr. Monti took a group of honors anatomy students to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. They explored the anatomy lab, observed surgically and anatomically dissected cadavers, and gained insight into the rigor and demands of entering the medical field as a college major and potential career choice. It was a fun, educational experience!

We hosted an Around the World event for National World Language Week and our newcomer students had the opportunity to share about their home countries (Mexico, Colombia, Honduras, and Venezuela). They did an amazing job and the event was a success!







Students participated in the spring assembly on Tuesday! We recognized academic, activity, and athletic accomplishments and had amazing performances from various student groups. We also had several competitions and games! It was a great way to celebrate our students.

Mrs. Ziel's clothing students have been working on a sweatshirt project and went on a field trip to purchase fabric. They did a great job budgeting and will soon be ready to start creating their designs! Also, the foods class made calzones and the hallways smelled delicious! They practiced working with yeast and dough.
