Choir had a wonderful opportunity to travel to Hawaii to perform! They sang at the USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor near the USS Arizona Memorial among other places as well. It was an amazing trip and they created memories to last a lifetime.

On the final day of Women's History Month, we feature the amazing teachers in the Special Education Department. These women are a part of all other departments serving our students who need them most. We are proud of the work they do!


Minooka Community High School proudly celebrates Women's History Month. As the month comes to a close, we want to thank all the women of MCHS for their dedication to the school and our students. We attempted to feature as many women, departments, and roles as possible. We apologize if we missed anyone. Please know we are proud to have so many wonderful women in District 111.


As we wrap up Women's History Month, meet the ladies in the Special Education and REACH departments. Our SPED department ensures that students with disabilities achieve the knowledge and skills necessary, while REACH is a Grundy County special education cooperative that teach life skills, vocational training, and social communication. We are thankful for these women!


Congratulations! A massive and heartfelt congratulations to senior Delaini Majetic for earning the $50,000 Coady Scholarship, an annual scholarship awarded to a student who demonstrates academic and character traits which indicate the likelihood of continued academic achievement and subsequent contributions to both career and community. At this month's Board of Education meeting, we recognized the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team for placing 2nd at State! They represented MCHS in a big way and we are incredibly proud them! #mchsproud
