Happy School Principals' Day! Thank you to our principal, Mrs. Jamie Soliman, for everything she does for MCHS. Her unwavering support of our students, staff, and families is inspiring.

Do you have a gently used formal dress in your closet that you won’t wear again? Consider donating it to the “Gowns Going Twice” program to help the “Hope Special Prom” non-profit. This organization is hosting Prom for the local special needs population. Dresses may be dropped off now through Tuesday, May 21 to the Main Office at Central Campus or South Campus.

Join us for the MCHS Art Show this Thursday, May 2 from 6-8 p.m. in the Central Campus Commons. The event will feature one artwork from each student in each art class this school year. We hope to see you there!

On #MinookaMonday, we'd like to feature Mrs. Ellie Bell, ASL teacher and esports coach who started at MCHS in 2022. She received both a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Deaf Education and Early Intervention from ISU. She lives in Morris with her husband and fellow MCHS teacher, Mr. Bell. She loves sharing new opportunities, culture, and language with students and seeing the growth they make in a short time.

Mrs. Heather Danek's Acting 1 students went on a field trip to see "A Streetcar Named Desire". They met with cast members Adriel Irizarry and Joshua L. Green for a post-show discussion. The students got handshakes, hugs and autographs. It was a fantastic day!

The community of REACHVILLE is now open! Ms. Heery's REACH art students have been working on a fun project. Each student received a plot of land from the Government U.S.H(eery) to build their houses. They spent time landscaping their properties to make the houses into their dream homes and then it was Move In Day! Everyone picked their lot in the town and Mayor Heery (self-appointed) was there to present each of them with their Title Deed to sign to make it official! WELCOME TO REACHVILLE, the land of hope! #mchsproud

As Prom Week continues, and thus theme week, today was "Meme Day". Meet Justin Timberlake (Mrs. Nicole Diamond) and 1990s "The Rock" (Marialisa Ketcham and Rob Davis). #NailedIt
