MCHS students partnered with the Will County Forest Preserve to forest restoration at McKinley Woods in Channahon. Students had a real life on application on ecosystems.

On #MinookaMonday, we'd like to feature Mr. Jon Ryan, campus monitor and assistant wrestling coach who originally started at MCHS in 2008. He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Governors State University and is currently working on his master's degree from University of Phoenix. He lives in Minooka, has a son (Blake), and is a Cubs, Notre Dame football, and Iowa wrestling fan and he loves traveling to tropical places. He likes helping students complete their goals and journey to graduation!

Biology classes went on a field trip to the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon to help in habitat restoration through removal of invasive species. It was an amazing hands on learning experience for our students!
