Reminder! Attend tomorrow's meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Central Campus ARC. The athletic boosters are seeking new board members to help work with fellow athlete families to plan events, buy/sell spirit wear, and raise money for student scholarships, athletic equipment and more!
Next week, our senior students will participate in final assessments for all courses May 13-14 during their regularly scheduled classes. They will be assessed in a variety of ways including unit assessments, projects, or culminating exams. Best of luck to our seniors!

This year, MCHS and REACH partnered for their first-ever Adaptive Leadership class. Everyone had a great time at the Adaptive PE Leadership Banquet to celebrate the success of the program and the relationships built between students. #mchsproud
We'd like to recognize the members of the Girls Wrestling team for being Regional and Sectional Champions this year! At the regional, the team had an amazing come from behind rally in the last round to jump ahead of Joliet Township Coop to win the Regional Title. At the Sectional tournament, the team dominated the field scoring 105 points to lead the field by 35 points. This was the first Girls Sectional Championship for the Minooka Girls Wrestling Program and we couldn't be more proud! #mchsproud
Part of this week's Staff Appreciation Week included a Cookout at each campus. Teachers and staff enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, and more with their fellow co-workers outside and in the staff lounge. We are so grateful for everyone who makes MCHS great!
Congratulations to all of those seniors who received awards at Senior Honors Night! It was a great evening recognizing our students and one of the final events of their high school career. We are so proud of all they've accomplished these last four years. #mchsproud
Yearbook distribution begins tomorrow! This Thursday and Friday, the yearbook staff will distribute the 2023-2024 yearbooks at both South & Central campuses during lunch. If you ordered a yearbook, make sure to pick it up during your lunch! 📚
Today we celebrate School Nurse Day, which is part of National Nurses Week! We are so grateful to our nurses, Christina Daurer (South) and Angie Muniz (Central), for their outstanding support of our students. Their ethic of care and empathy is visible every day.
Congrats to these Geometry in Construction students who were able to become OSHA certified (10 hr.)! They even built custom frames for their certificates. The students are able to carry this accomplishment with them for a lifetime! #mchsproud
Mrs. Christie Cain's students have been going to Minooka Intermediate School and Minooka Junior High throughout the semester as student teachers. Each MCHS student was paired with a volunteer teacher at the school to work together in the classroom. It was a great experience and we are grateful for the collaboration!

This week, we welcomed area elementary schools to join us for Children's Theater performance of "What Happened After Once Upon a Time". There were dance parties, laughs, and lots of fun. Thank you to the cast and crew and all who joined us for a performance!
