During the school year, we enact drills that are required by the state to prepare everyone in case of a real emergency. We will practice these September 9-13 with our students and share this schedule so as to inform everyone that these are drills and not a real emergency.

Today, and every Friday in the fall, our athletic teams go to both Minooka & Channahon Junior Highs to welcome and cheer on the students into school! #juniorhighspiritfriday #mchsproud 🧡🖤

The Minooka soccer program will be partnering with local organization Chanooka Wish in a sponsored game vs. Waubonsie Valley on September 7. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. Also, anyone can contribute monetary donations to Chanooka Wish upon entering the soccer complex on game day. They are also hosting a winter warm drive and boxes will be placed as you enter the complex from the pond lot. You can drop gloves for kids, gently used coats, and new pairs of socks in these bins. They will be delivered to local families in need during the winter warm drive. We hope to see you there and appreciate your support!

MCHS offers numerous dual credit classes that can save both time and money in college! These classes earn both high school and college credits, in which many transfer to other colleges. Check out these savings from last school year! Interested in learning more about these course offerings? Connect with a school counselor!

Congratulations to freshman Kara McGinnis and sophomore Reagan McReynolds for receiving positive referrals from the Deans' Office! They bought a student in the REACH program a gift to wish her luck with her upcoming surgery. They made her day with a new Stanley water bottle, candy and notes to wish her well! #mchsproud #spreadkindness

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, Rock Island is experiencing technical difficulties, and the Block Party in the Stadium is canceled. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you again in the near future. Please note: The Athletic Boosters will still be at the stadium selling spirit wear from 4-7 p.m. Stop by for all your game day needs!
