Congratulations to our Minooka Boys Swimming athletes! There were so many PRs and season best swimmers for the boys at the IHSA Normal Community Sectional this past weekend. The 400 Free Relay team of Jacob Kuziel, Bryce Fuhrman, Thomas Zbranek and Matt Bond place sixth on the podium! It was a great day of swimming! #mchsproud

Congratulations to the Math Team who competed in the ICTM Regional Math Contest on Saturday at JJC. The Freshman/Sophomore 2-Person Team (Mark Sagun and Sam Thomas) took 2nd place. Sam Thomas also placed 1st as an individual in Geometry advancing him to the State Competition on April 26th at ISU! #mchsproud

MCHS is offering FREE ACT Prep Workshops to help students prepare for the upcoming ACT on April 9. There will be two sessions each for English, Math & Science ACT Practice and Testing Strategies. The Boys Basketball Team hosted "Mostaccioli with Mom", a mother/son dinner. They enjoyed a meal together, seniors read letters to Mom, they played games and did a Q&A together. It was a fun evening!
We recognized student athletes at this week's Board of Education meeting. Junior Madelyn Kiper, varsity basketball player, became the 10th player to reach 1,000 points, and broke school records for most 3-pointers in a game, most points scored in a game, and most 3-pointers in a season. Also, Coach Harding and the Football Team received a National high School Academic Excellence Award for their excellence academically, on the field, and in the community. #mchsproud
