We are excited to feature MCHS alumna Kristin (Chmielewski) Johnson, Ed. D. '03 who is the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction at Mokena School District 159. While at MCHS, she played volleyball and basketball and was a part of the National Honor Society and French National Honor Society. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Monmouth College and two master's degrees from Lewis University in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on English Language Learners. She also earned her doctoral degree from University of St. Francis with a Superintendent Endorsement where she also adjunct teaches. She's the 2025 recipient of the Illinois State Board of Education's "Those Who Excel Award of Excellence for Administrators". Kristin lives in Minooka with her husband and twin sons who will attend MCHS in the fall of 2026. #mchsproud 🧡🖤
