At last night's Board meeting, Joliet Junior College president, Dr. Namuo, and other representatives, presented the MCHS Superintendent, Dr. Schiffbauer, and Board of Education with a Proclamation of Appreciation for support of their 12x12x12 initiative. This dual credit program allows MCHS students to enroll in courses in which they receive college credit, thus saving significant college tuition dollars! This year, we had 524 students earn 2,265 college credit hours before their high school graduation. We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for our partnership with JJC! #mchsproud

We had lots of kids participate in The Nook Track Club these past five weeks! We had a great mix of middle schoolers, high schoolers, boys, girls, experienced kids, and first-timers. It was a fun group and we appreciate all who participated. The future is bright!
