Congratulations to the Minooka Journalism Team who finished fifth out of 12 schools at the SPC Championship on Feb. 21 hosted by Plainfield North! Minooka had 10 all-conference entries. The team is made up of students from the newspaper and yearbook staffs. They are coached by Mr. Matt Thomas and Mr. Ron Maruszak. #mchsproud

Congratulations to Minooka Indoor Percussion on a fantastic performance this past Saturday at WGI Chicago! The group made finals and finished in second place. All are welcome to come support Indoor Percussion during our home show on March 7th with a performance time of 1:30 in the MCHS South Campus main gym.

Mrs. Bell's ASL 1 class participated in a hands on Edible Ear project that reinforces the anatomy of the ear and teaches them what causes hearing loss. Students enjoyed this fun and tasty project, which was was generously funded with a grant by the Foundation for Educational Excellence. www.mchs.net/page/foundation

At last night's Board of Education meeting, sophomore Jakob Koppers and his parents presented MCHS and Dr. Schiffbauer, superintendent, with his High School Racing Association (HRSA) 4th place plaque. Jakob raced on behalf of MCHS and we are proud of all of his success! #mchsproud
