Mrs. Danek's Intro to Drama and Acting I students saw "Come From Away" at the Paramount Theatre last week. For many, it was their first experience seeing live, professional theatre. It was a great opportunity for the students to enjoy a performance together!

Our Homecoming Dance, "Greekin' Out For HOCO", was hosted on Saturday and our students had an amazing time! They shared some of their favorite moments with us. Each year, the dance is hosted on the football field with food trucks and gym shoes. A great time was had by all!
The Academic Resource Center hosted a FAFSA Workshop that taught students how to create their ID and begin the application. Completing the FAFSA is a graduation requirement allows students to apply for federal financial aid for college.

Students participated in the Homecoming Week assembly on Friday! There were lots of games, activities, including tug-of-war, musical chairs, and more. It was a great week for school spirit!
Students in Ms. Kaminski's AP Computer Science Principles learned about the importance of writing clear and specific code by practicing with Lego builds. Each student wrote step-by-step instructions for building a tower and traded it with a classmate to see if they could replicate the build using only those written instructions. Students were able to see how vague or unclear instructions can lead to errors similarly to how a computer can only follow exactly what is written in their programming.
