On this #MinookaMonday, we'd like to feature Mrs. Tracey Adams who started at MCHS in 2008. She is the current Mathematics Department Chair and teacher. She earned her bachelor's degree from University of Iowa, master's degree from Governors State University, and is pursuing her doctorate at the University of St. Francis. She resides in Channahon with her husband, three young children, and dog Sam. Mrs. Adams loves helping teachers, working with students, and making the school the best it can be!

1st through 4th grade boys and girls are invited to join us for MCHS’s Haunted House of Hoops! Presented by boys and girls basketball, kids will participate in the clinic on October 26 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at South Campus. Doors open at 4:15 p.m., clinic runs 4:30 - 5:50 p.m., and a Trunk-or-Treat will take place from 5:50 - 6:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required by scanning the QR code below.

We are so proud of our volleyball team for winning the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award, which honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average
of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Our team averaged a 3.769 GPA. Congratulations! #mchsproud

Congratulations to Addisyn Warren who received a Positive Referral from the Deans’ Office for her honesty and integrity. Addisyn found a pair of Apple Airpods in the ladies restroom after school and returned them to the office to be returned to the rightful owner. Way to go, Addisyn!

Mrs. Laura Grozik's AP Stats class did surveys in the pollinator habitat and collected data on number of pollinators and also monarch caterpillars present. They are going to use the data to look for correlations between different variables. They also found over 20 monarch caterpillars and several chrysalis. It was a great hands on experience for our students!
