Mrs. Julie Ziel's Clothing 2 students participated in a service project where they worked in groups to determine a need, create a product, and give to those in need. They completed and donated 10 fidget mazes donated to the REACH department for students, 8 fidget mazes and 4 tote bags for Heritage Woods resident Bingo prizes, 7 pairs of pajamas, 20 hand puppets, and 3 stuffed animals for the Will County Advocacy Center for their young clients, 6 pillows donated to the Timbers of Shorewood for residents, and 50 baby bibs were donated to Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital. #mchsproud #mchsgivesback

Earlier this month, two MCHS students, Vivienne Forte and Evelyn Gonzalez, as part of Grundy Area FFA, participated in the Illinois (State) Envirothon competition and earned 3rd place! This was a team event where they listen to presenters and took a written test and completed a practicum in the areas of Aquatics, Forestry, Soils, Wildlife, and Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future.
