We are happy to feature MCHS alumna Abby Holloway '17 who is an Industrial Engineer at CNH Industrial - Reman in Springfield, MO. She spent 5 years at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, studying mechanical engineering and six sigma. While at MCHS, she played basketball, lacrosse, trombone in marching and concert band, and was involved in NHS and Indian Athletic Club. #mchsproud

We are happy to announce that the MCHS football program won the Illinois 8A bid for a Program of Excellence by the National Football Foundation! Congratulations to the 77 varsity players who finished first semester with an average 3.44 GPA. These kids are great athletes, students, and active in the community. #mchsproud

Social studies classes participated in the Combat Hate program, a digital media literacy workshop, that challenges students to interpret hateful online messages and their impact and provides them with resources to use when encountering online hate.

What an incredible opportunity! Our Anatomy & Physiology classes got to go live into the operating room at Advocate Christ Medical Center in partnership with the Museum of Science & Industry and watch via video conference as a surgical team performed open heart surgery. Students could ask questions of the team and learn about heart health and find out about medical careers.
