They competed at the Maple Leaf Classic in Geneseo and won Best Percussion, Best Guard, Best Music, Best Visual Display, 1st place in 3A and are Grand Champions of the Maple Leaf Classic! Staff gathered after school for a food prep party making chilaquilles! Not only did they have a great time together, but they also went home with a homemade meal. It was a fun experience!
Join us for the Fall Choral Concert on Thursday, September 25 at 7 p.m. in the Central Campus Performing Arts Center. Channahon Junior High will be joining our own MCHS Concert Choir, Women's Chorale, Mixed Choir, Treble Choir, Varsity Madrigals and JV Madrigals as they share in song and combine together for a Grand Finale at the end of the evening! Our transportation department participated in professional development training with our friends at Minooka CCSD 201 who presented on the CHAMPS framework for elementary students. This program helps guide our drivers to teach expected behavior to ensure a safe, fun ride to and from school.
