The International Club thanks those who participated and helped with supplies and prizes for our Inaugural Scarecrow Trail! Channahon Park District, Tractor Supply Co., Casey’s, and The Happy Crab Coffee are great community sponsors, while our clubs, sports, activities, and departments got creative with their scarecrows. On Friday, members of Student Council and Junior Class Committee had the opportunity to attend the Illinois Director of Student Activities workshop at Lyons Township High School. They were able to network with students and leaders from other schools to exchange ideas about school activities, how to be a better leaders and promote leadership, how to use AI tools in activities, how to create events that were inclusive for all, and got to hear from two different motivational speakers. It was a great experience!

Please welcome Cherokee LeBeau '18! He was hired this year as the Central ARC Manager. He lives in Plainfield and earned his bachelor's in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he played baseball, and his MBA from Lewis University. He loves traveling, golfing, watching sports and collects memorabilia and Jordan shoes. He looks forward to coaching baseball with his former coach here at MCHS!

Several students worked with Mr. Brad Dorick cleaning up the pollinator garden at Central Campus in preparation for winter. It was a great hands-on experience for our students!

Student Council hosted a movie night with our REACH students. They played games together, did crafts, ate snacks and watched a movie! This year we had 18 REACH Students, and over 30 Student Council members. They truly cherish the memories made and relationships built. It was a fun event for all!






Please give a warm welcome to Christina Murry! She was hired this year as a special education teacher. Christina received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois and her master's degree from University of St. Francis. She lives in Joliet with her husband, 2 daughters (aged 9 and 4), dog (Bailey) and cat (Paws). She lives in the community and knows it's a wonderful place to live and work!

We did a parade send off throughout Central Campus with the drumline for our Girls Tennis Athletes who qualified for state! Max Phillips-Mantia took 2nd place at Sectionals as our top singles player and Lydia & Juliet Michalesko took 1st place at Sectionals as our top doubles team.
