A massive congratulations to JV Cheer who not only placed 2nd out of 20 teams at the "All of the Lights" at Lakes Community High School on Saturday, but they took 2nd in state at the ICCA Cheerleading Championships in Springfield on Sunday! Way to go, girls! #mchsproud

Our theater club members were at the state convention this weekend and were able to see our two All-State students in action! Kameron and the orchestra were on stage for a few numbers and Ava was constantly on stage moving the giant set around. It was a great experience and wonderful to see peers support each other. #mchsproud

Attend the Athletic Booster meeting on Monday, January 12 at 6 p.m. in the Central Campus ARC. The athletic boosters are seeking new members to help work with fellow athlete families to plan events, buy/sell spirit wear, and raise money for student athletes!

Semester 1 report cards are now live on the PowerSchool website for grades 9-12. You cannot see the official report card via the smartphone app. Here are the steps to view the report card online:

3. Click on "Student Reports" on the left

Did you know that parents AND students can receive bus notifications in the instance of a late bus, etc. To update a parent’s phone number, or add a student phone number in order to receive transportation notifications, log into PowerSchool, select “Forms” within the left menu, then select the “Enrollment” tab at the top. Meet alumnus Scott Garrett '98 who is the Senior Deputy Athletics at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While at MCHS, he played football and was in the band. He earned a B.S. in Marketing from ISU in 2002 and M.S. in Athletics Administration from Indiana in 2003. He's married to fellow alum Kristy (McGann) '98 and they have two children, Matthew and Audrey. #mchsproud 🧡🖤
