(Minooka, IL) – Minooka Community High School District 111 (MCHS) is proud to announce that it has earned, for the first time, the prestigious “Exemplary” designation on the annual Illinois School Report Card released by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
The Exemplary designation is the highest performance rating awarded by the state, recognizing schools that perform in the top 27% statewide. This status is reserved for institutions demonstrating exceptional academic excellence, robust student growth, and consistent success across all student demographic groups.
“Receiving an exemplary designation represents an unwavering commitment to educational excellence," said Dr. Robert Schiffbauer, Superintendent. “We believe in high expectations and continuous improvement for all. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our students, the innovation of our teachers, and the continuous support of our entire community.”
The annual School Report Card metrics evaluate public institutions across multiple indicators of academic quality and student success. Under Illinois’ updated school accountability framework, designations emphasize overall student growth, community engagement, and strong student support systems.
