Over the summer of 2018, a group of community members and MCHS Administration, with the assistance from the MCHS Board of Education, established the District #111 Foundation for Educational Excellence. The mission of our foundation is to inspire excellence, foster innovation, and nurture potential.

Goals include: Monetary support for the MCHS community through innovative initiatives, technology upgrades and capital improvement opportunities, Conduit for community members and alumni who wish to leave a legacy to MCHS, Honor tradition by recognizing our rich history, Strengthen community engagement through outreach and events.

Join us for the annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on Friday, December 2 from 6p-11p at 176 West Banquet Hall in Joliet. All proceeds help to fund student scholarships, educator grants, and more! Buy your tickets here and view and bid on auction items here starting November 17.

The District #111 Foundation for Educational Excellence gives back to the Minooka Community High School District #111 community through various fundraising efforts including a holiday party/ugly sweater fundraiser which featured dueling pianos in 2021! With the generous help of donors and sponsors, the District #111 Foundation for Educational Excellence offers grant opportunities for educators and staff at MCHS District #111 and well as several scholarship opportunities.
