PSAT/NMSQT Information
MCHS will offer the PSAT/NMSQT on October 13, 2021. 10th and 11th grade students can take the PSAT/NMSQT in October, in order to practice for the SAT and potentially qualify for entry into the National Merit Scholarship Program. Conquering College Costs
MCHS Student Services Department presents their annual “Conquering College Costs” seminar via YouTube. Presenter this year is Frank Palmasani, author of “Right College, Right Price”, and will discuss how you can maximize your opportunities for scholarships and grants – thus reducing your college sticker price. He will also share his unique method of finding “financial fits” for affordable college options.

Mr. Palmasani will also be hosting a Q/A session virtually on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. More information will be provided soon. 


Frank Palmasani has been a staunch advocate of paying for college without excessive debt for over 35 years. He has spoken to thousands of parents at seminars during that time, presented at counselor conferences, and been interviewed by radio and TV outlets across the country. His enthusiastic style will keep you interested in this important topic.

MCHS Lunch & Learns

The school counselors offer Lunch & Learns each week with local professionals. The local professionals will be available from 1:30-2:00pm to present information and teach students about a career in their field. All Lunch & Learns will be held via Google Meets.
