The Minooka Community High School District 111 Board of Education operates with a focus on the following priorities:

• Enhance the curriculum by incorporating choice challenge and lifelong learning skills that will allow students to compete successfully in a global society;

• Continue staff development to foster improved performance and professionalism, thereby increasing student achievement;

• Expand services that supply students with information about post-secondary options, including career and college programs and services, and provide career and personal counseling for all students.

• Extend the current instructional technology plan to integrate technology throughout the curriculum for the purpose of engaging students and staff as active learners;

• Promote and foster a community relations program that emphasizes a positive school image in all segments of the community and encourages collaborative associations.

• Nurture a positive, secure school environment where everyone is motivated to learn; and,

• Respond to district growth and change by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently.
