(Minooka) - Minooka Community High School celebrated the accomplishments of ten college-bound student-athletes at its annual Fall Athletic Collegiate Signing Night event on Wednesday, November 8,2017 in the MCHS - Central Campus Career Center.

Honorees for the evening included: Cherokee LeBeau - Baseball at Oakland University, Samantha Hermann - Volleyball at Ferris State University, Olivia Klank - Volleyball at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Holly Bonde - Volleyball at Kansas State University, Allison Papesh - Volleyball at the University of Dayton, Raquel Perinar - Volleyball at the University of Tennessee, Hayden Laczynski - Baseball at Western Illinois University, Luke Faifer - Baseball at Maryville University, Emily Shelton - Cross-Country/Track and Field at Liberty University, Taylor Baranski - Volleyball at Iowa State University, and Dominic Ruettiger - Track and Field at Coastal Carolina University.

“What these kids have accomplished is really remarkable,” said MCHS Athletic Director Bob Tyrell. “Approximately one percent of all high school athletes earn scholarship money to continue their careers at the next level, so this type of achievement is certainly something to celebrate.”
