03.08.08 - Exterior work on the school is nearly complete, as crews continue to focus their efforts on the west end of the building and the entrance area in the front of the building.

11.02.07 - Landscape work on the site is completed. While exterior work on the west portion of the school is targeted to be completed by Thanksgiving, interior work,such as painting and tile work, has progressed throught the academic wing. Painting has been completed on the first two floors, as has tile work in the restrooms on the first floor. Crews are also working on installing ceiling grids and ceiling fixtures.
10.03.07 - Exterior work on the west portion of the building continues as work crews focus on having the building completely enclosed by the end of this month. Also, the first layer of blacktop has been installed and landscape work on the site has begun.
09.27.07 - The MCHS District 111 Board of Education recently invited the Citizens for District 111 - 2006 referendum committee to tour the site of the new school as a "thank-you" for their hard work in making the project a reality. The tour, which was headed by Richard Ach of Turner Construction, coincided with the one-year anniversary of the project's groundbreaking last fall.
