Minooka Community High School Senior Named Rotary Club “Student of the Month”
(Minooka) – Congratulations are extended to senior Elizabeth Burns, daughter of Ann and Bill Burns of Channahon, on being named the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club “Student of the Month” for November.
In the classroom, Elizabeth maintains a 4.7 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Outside the classroom, Elizabeth is involved with Student Council, Math Team, Scholastic Bowl, National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, and Junior Statesmen of America. She has also been recognized as an A.P. Scholar, and winner of the Frederick Douglas and Susan B. Anthony Award in Humanities and Social Sciences.
Elizabeth is currently deciding on where she will continue her education next fall.
