Minooka Community High School Inducts Newest National Honor Society Members
(Minooka) – Congratulations are extended to the fifty-four newest members of the MCHS National Honor Society. These outstanding student leaders were inducted during a special ceremony on December 5, 2007.
The new NHS members include: Seniors - Madison Capodice, Steven Cerovac, Anthony Donisch, Daniel Jacobs, Jonathon Kaegebein, Alicia McKendry, Kara McPherson, Kathleen Nolan, Ryan Stewart, Christopher Kelly, Rachel Thompson; Juniors - Ann Alexander, Gregory Alexander, Paula Bernhard, Kevin Boylan, Andrew Buchanan, Douglas Burian, Clinton Cabrera, Kaitlyn Caldwell, Shannon Calus, Tyler Cap, Alyssa Caron, Kelly Chesnut, Samantha Claysen, Kris DaVanon, Sarah Diedrich, Kara Engel, Jillian Forkal, Nicole Furr, Lauren Govednik, Julian Hoshell, Ashley Hutton, Sara Jepsen, Nolan Jones, Lyndsay Kooi, Matthew Kubacki, Kristen Kucek, Jordan Martinet, Brent McMurtry, Aubry Moorman, Maggie Null, China Oughton, Stephanie Pierce, Samantha Residori, Joseph Ruettiger, Allison Scherer, Michael Schmitz, Katherine Scholtes, Jonathon Seaman, Connor Sewing, Erick Smith, Matthew Stonitsch, Amy Strohman, Kara Tasharski, Jessica Waller, and Rachael Williams.
MCHS mathematics teacher Jodi Moorman was also honored as the Honorary Staff NHS Member.
National Honor Society candidates must meet the chapter's requirement for scholarship, service, leadership and character in order to be selected for membership.
The MCHS National Honor Society sponsor is Donna Engel, and the assistant sponsor is Anthony Babich.
