MCHS to Present Annual Madrigal Dinners
(Minooka) – Madrigal singing was brought to England from Italy and served as a form of after-dinner entertainment for all in the court. Come enjoy feasting on a catered dinner, be entertained by madrigals singing songs of the Renaissance and traditional carols, and our players acting out comedy and humorous stories that will send you home chuckling and with sides hurting all at the same time! Come be a part of Minooka Community High School’s tradition and make your holidays merry at the 11th Annual Madrigal Dinner on Saturday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 9 at 1 p.m.!
Make your reservations today by calling 467-2140, ext. 232. Tickets cost $20 per adult, $15 per senior citizen/students, and $10 per child (under 10). All reservations are due by Tuesday, December 4. When placing a reservation, please note the date of the dinner you would like to attend and how many tickets you will need for that evening. You may e-mail reservation requests to rbenware@mchs.net.
