Minooka Community High School Invites Community Children to “Rock & Read”

(Minooka) – The Minooka Community High School chapter of the National Honor Society will host its annual Rock & Read Halloween Party on Sunday, October 28, from 2-5 p.m. in the cafetorium. For the event, NHS members dress up in costumes as their favorite children’s book characters and read to area children. Admission to the event is free, but a donation of a new or gently used children’s book is encouraged. All donations will benefit the University of Illinois (Chicago) pediatric clinic. The event is open to all area children.
