Marching Indians of Minooka Community High School Named
Grand Champion Band at Dwight Harvest Days
(Minooka) – Minooka Community High School congratulates its Marching Indians band program and their director, Rick Anderson, on winning the title of Grand Champion Band at Dwight Harvest Days on September 23.
In addition to winning the title of Grand Champion Band, the Marching Indians also earned first place finishes in the Field Show Competition Class A (large bands) categories of Best Horn Line caption, Best Colorguard caption, and Best Drum Major caption, and the Parade Competition Class A (large bands) categories of Best Horn Line caption, Best Colorguard caption, Best Drumline caption, and Best Drum Major caption.
Upcoming performances and competitions for the Marching Indians include the MCHS Homecoming football game on Friday, September 28, and the Grundy County Corn Festival Parade on September 30.
