(Minooka) – The Minooka Community High School Student Council would like to remind parents and students about this year’s “Pump Up the Volume” Homecoming 2007 activities.

On Monday, September 24, MCHS will host a Battle of the Bands from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Cafetorium.

On Tuesday, September 25, students will put their talents to the test as they attempt to win the titles of Mr. and Ms. Indian.  The event will take place in the MCHS Performing Arts Center starting at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, September 26, the junior girls will take on the senior girls in our annual Powderpuff flag football game, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the MCHS Stadium.

On Thursday, September 27, we will celebrate Homecoming 2007 with our annual homecoming pep rally, which will begin at 7 p.m. in the MCHS Stadium.

The Minooka Indians will take on the Romeoville Spartans in exciting football action on Friday, September 28.  The sophomore game will begin at 5 p.m. and the varsity game will begin at 7 p.m.  Be sure to stick around after the game for a fireworks show sponsored by the MCHS Athletic Boosters.

Finally, the Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, September 29, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at MCHS.  Tickets for the dance, which cost $15 per person, will be on sale before school and during lunch periods during Homecoming Week.
