Minooka Community High School Students Participate in Area Contest

(Minooka) – Six members of Minooka Community High School’s Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering club recently participated in an area competition hosted by the University of St. Francis.

Three participants from MCHS earned place finishes with their overall performance on their content area tests. These students included: senior Jessica Tindall - 1st Place, Advancing for English; senior Lizzy Burns - 2nd Place, Advancing for English, and; senior David Dosher - 2nd Place, Advancing for Math. Other participating members included: juniors Paden Hanson, Reggie Sey and Brent McMurty, and; seniors Laura Stonitsch, Sheree Pentoney, Mia Bryan, Kevin Cross, Michelle Pillers, John Frauenheim, and senior C.J. Kelly.
