Minooka Community High School Girls’ Basketball Team Captures Conference Title

(Minooka) – Congratulations are in order for the MCHS varsity girls’ basketball team on capturing its second consecutive Southwest Prairie Conference championship. The team defeated Oswego High School with a final score of 40-36 en route to the title. The team, led by head coach Ray Liberatore, is now preparing for its last regular season contest of the year this Friday against Morris (5:30 p.m., Senior Night) before entering the IHSA regional competition next week at Ottawa.
