Minooka Community High School Girls’ Bowling Team Qualifies for State Competition

(Minooka) – Congratulations are in order for the MCHS varsity girls’ bowling team, who qualified for the IHSA State Bowling Tournament by placing second at the Dixon sectional competition this past weekend. The team, led by the sectional competition’s overall pin leader (tie) Amanda Warwick, will head to Rockford’s Cherry Bowl Lanes this weekend to vie for a state championship. The team is coached by Frank Yudzentis (head) and Mickey Resner (assistant). For more information about the tournament, please call the MCHS Athletic Office at 467-2140, ext. 135.
