Minooka Community High School to Host Flower, Plant, Shop Tool Sale
(Minooka) – Minooka Community High School will host its annual flower and plant sale on Friday, May 4, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the school’s greenhouse. A wide variety of plants, flowers, and vegetable plants will be available for purchase. This year’s selections include: petunias, marigolds, salvia, geraniums, impatiens, zinnias, dusty millers, and many more of your summer time favorites. The event is first-come, first-serve, so be sure to come early to get the best variety and selection. Flats of 48 plants cost $12 each. Geraniums are $1 each. Vegetable four-packs cost $1 each. Also at those same times, the school will host a used shop tool sale. A wide variety of power tools, hand tools, and other workshop items will be for sale. The sale will be held in the school’s woodshop, which is located next to the greenhouse.
