2020 Freshmen Experience Week:
The 2020 Freshman Experience Week will be a virtual experience for our incoming freshmen.
This event will take place the week of
August 3rd - 7th. We are creating a week-long experience with welcome videos, virtual tours of South Campus, Facebook live chats, and many more opportunities for our incoming families to learn about MCHS.

The information presented below relates to the course selection and residency process for incoming freshmen for the 2020-2021 school year at Minooka Community High School.  If you have any questions about the information listed below or the course selection please contact your guidance counselor or for questions on the residency process in general, please contact the Assistant Registrar Mrs. Stephanie Ledesma at 815-467-2140 ext. 5090.

Course Selection and Residency Process
MCHS counselors will begin the course selection and residency process for incoming freshmen on January 8th (Channahon Junior High) and January 10th (Minooka Junior High and Troy). On these dates, counselors will provide each student with information that will allow students and their parents to make course selections for the coming school year at MCHS. The Course Selection and Residency packets will be available for pick up for the Parochial/Private school students on January 13, 2020 during Incoming Freshman Night. Online residency - course selection will open on January 8th and will close January 21st.  To begin the residency and course selection process after you have received the Course Selection and Residency packet, please click on the link below (available January 8, 2020).

FRESHMEN "WALK-IN" Registration Information:
With the start of the 2020-2021 school year just around the corner, MCHS would like to share with you some important information about Freshmen “Walk-In” Registration Days. Registration for students who will be a Freshman will take place on Tuesday, July 21st and Wednesday, July 22nd, from 8:00AM - 3:00PM at South Campus. Families will attend during their allotted time.

In order to maintain social distancing guidelines, we have established a traffic flow pattern for all families entering the building during our Summer Registration Days. In addition, masks will be required to enter the building. Please find your allotted time and day, parking map, and South Campus interior routing map by clicking the following links:

Course Selection & Residency Packet Drop-Off @ Channahon Junior High Parents must complete the online residency process before their student can enter his/her course selection online. Students must enter their course selection online before returning the completed course selection and residency packet to their school on the designated Course Selection & Residency Packet Pick-up date.
